Chief of Fleet Operations, New York City to speak at Future Fleet Forum

Future Fleet Forum is organised by LAPV, hosted by the City of London, partnered by the City of New York, City of Montreal, the SOE, and CILT. It is the first international fleet management conference for public sector fleet managers and their contracting organisations.

Paris will be discussing the electrification of the New York City Parks fleet. By attending his presentation, delegates will learn about the importance of setting up the correct infrastructure for electrification. They will also find out what the right processes are for fleet electrification while learning how to overcome resistance to change in an organisation. He will also highlight what the pros and cons were for fleet electrification in his experience.

Paris has 15 years of experience in the automotive industry. As a Chief of Fleet Operations at the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation, he oversees Fleet services (vehicle procurement as well as maintenance and repairs) for NYC Parks. Parks operates a Fleet of more than 3,000 vehicles that include refuse trucks, forestry, grass cutting and construction equipment and more than 5,000 operators. Paris's focus has been safety, innovation and best practices, and fleet sustainability.

Future Fleet Forum 2020 is set to be the best in its series.
