Previously, Richard served in the RAF, joining as a fighter pilot in 1982. In January 2012 he was posted as Head of RAF Media and Communications and was appointed to the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire as a Commander (MEOBEC).Most recently he served as RAF Corporate Development Officer to redouble the RAF’s innovation culture.
